As we go through the experience of seeking a new senior pastor we are aware that we must be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:2). As we study eight passages describing the worship of individuals and groups of people, we are learning the charateristics of true biblical worship. Jesus lays the foundation for our worship in John 4 stressing that it must be in "spirit and in truth." Our worship is to be internal (spirit) under the control of the Holy Spirit, coming to the Father in the one true way (through faith in Jesus Christ), with genuine sincerity.
Rowlett Bible Fellowship exists to encourage all people to hope in Christ alone. Because of His work on our behalf, we can enjoy relationship with the One True God.
Augustine once said, “Our hearts are restless, ‘til they find their rest in Thee." Our mission is to remind our neighbors, our world and ourselves that true rest, true peace, and true hope are found in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.
